Let’s get to know each other!
After you fill out my contact form and I feel like we’re a good fit, I’ll get back to you with a calendar booking link to book an introductory call so I can learn more about your business and you can learn more about me. We’ll talk a bit about your goals with the case study and I’ll give you tips on how to select the best client to feature.

Scope of work
Once we’ve both decided we’re a good fit to work together, I’ll send you an outline of the scope of work and the process in writing. You’ll be able to see clear timelines and steps that go into the case study process and the rates for different kinds of final assets. Once you give me the go ahead and choose the kind of assets you want, I’ll send you an invoice for a 50% deposit and my contract that you can sign electronically.

Project kick-off
Yay! We’re working together! You’ll get permission from your client to feature them in your customer stories. I’ll share tips, tricks and templates to help get buy-in. We’ll schedule a briefing call where you’ll tell me more about the work you’ve done with your client so I can prepare the best interview questions to dig out your awesome story. Then you’ll e-introduce me to your client. I take it from there. You’ll be able to see updates in your client portal. You can sit back and relax or of course tackle all your other to-dos! 😊

Client interview
I get back to your client and schedule an interview with them and tell them what to expect. I put them at ease by letting them know nothing is published without their approval and I make sure they are comfortable and happy throughout the entire process. The interview is usually 30-40 mins long. I treat your clients with the utmost care.

Writing your story
I weave a compelling narrative from the interview, extracting key highlights, pain points and results for a powerful story. Within 8 days of the interview, I share the case study as a Google Doc with you and your client for review.

Edits and collecting brand collaterals
We make any edits or changes you or your client request. I also collect brand collaterals (like logos, font styles and brand colors) and photos from both you and your client during this time.

Design
Once we have all edits to text done, the case study is off to be designed in a beautiful on-brand PDF format for your business. We’ll have pull-out quotes, summaries, result and metric highlights and subheads to make sure the final product is engaging, easily skimmable for readers who just want the highlights as well as visually appealing.

Final approvals
Your beautifully designed case study is now in your and your client’s inbox for final approvals. If needed, we’ll make tweaks or changes. At this stage, we focus more on any image or highlight revisions since we have already approved text before reaching this stage. The final project invoice goes out at this stage.

Sign-off and final deliverables
Once we have the approval and have made any needed edits, I’ll get your client to sign the final approval form that gives you official permission to start publishing this case study. I will send you all final deliverables and any ad-ons and we’ll wrap up the project with your feedback.

Here are some FAQs
Do you write anything besides case studies?
Case studies are my first love and primary offer and I have a proven process for them. I also write landing pages, sales pages, emails, blogs, whitepapers and ebooks. If you have a specific project you’d like support in, please reach out and fill out my contact form.
Do you work with business owners outside B2B SaaS?
My primary offering is designed to fit B2B and SaaS company case studies, but I work with other business owners as well, specifically B2B consultants, coaches and course creators. Send me a message!
Can you provide the case study without design?
Yes! Most clients like it when I handle the entire process for them. But if you are only looking to publish the case study on your website and/or have your own internal design team, I can tweak the process to suite your needs.
Do you provide video testimonials?
I only provide written and designed assets. However, if you would like a basic snippet from the customer interview and your customer agrees to that, I’m happy to point out timestamps where you or your team can cut out a video testimonial to use. Since we are doing this without the powerful tech and set up needed for quality video production, it’s important to be clear that the quality would only be as good as a regular Zoom video and the quote will not be as polished and practiced as a prepared video testimonial. Having said that, candid, unprepared quotes definitely have their own advantages!
