Hey, I’m Naureen!
I’m a trained journalist turned copywriter and case study writer.
I have a Master of Journalism from Carleton University (Ottawa) and experience working as a subeditor for a newspaper, community magazine and for a publishing house. I have also written and reported stories for the city and education sections, written for community magazines, studied and researched Muslim representation in the media, launched and worked on a community project to help amplify Muslim voices in Canadian media and launched and worked on an ecommerce store.
And while that may sound like a lot of different experiences, I’ve juggled them around moves, living between Pakistan and Canada, having and raising two energetic young boys and also homeschooling them! 😅

- I was a high achiever throughout my academic life – straight As in A-levels and Gold medalist in my undergrad.
- I love chocolate!
- I prefer tea over coffee!
- I love quiet time because it’s been such a rare resource with two noisy young boys! 😉
- I am passionate about Muslim representation in the media and love seeing, reading and writing diverse success stories.
